This is one of three books for the New York publisher Rizzoli worked on with the architectural historian Jeremy Musson and the peerless architectural photographer Paul Barker before the latter's untimely death in 2015. Paul's images are so rich, evocative and beautifully lit that the pages almost designed themselves. Once the clean, classical typography was established, the only difficulty was deciding which photographs to omit for lack of space. Shortlisted for the 2012 Spears Book Awards.
